IIRC the definition of the diffuser is everything aft of the kink in the floor; rather than everything below the floor.

It is only on F1 Technical in the off season that I have ever seen so many grown men get this excitable over A SHEET (and not even a real one at that).

Someone PLEASE launch a car and put an end to this madness!

I quite agree! This is nothing more than a computer drawing of a sheet and it’s the same one they used last year. It reveals nothing about the specification of the new car not least because they just want to keep people guessing. It’s called marketing!! This image nothing more than an approximation of what a silver sheet would look like draped over a generic F1 car that vaguely conforms the current regulations.

It's everything rear of the rear wheel centre line.

That virtual sheet is exactly the same as last years... All the creases ar in the exact same place etc... It's just rendered with different settings at a different camera angle. There is nothing to learn from it.

If it is the 27 it is designed to not reveal any details. It is a Marketing exercise!!

Kind of reminds me of Le Mans prototypes. If you see they are made in a similar way to an f1 car, with a tub (2 seat tho'), engine as a fully stressed member, suspension mounted to gearbox etc, just with the extra bodywork.
