WOW that would be one incredible achievement! The new car must be something special if they think they can do that!mx_tifoso wrote:They're aiming for a top three finish this year!
Unless I'm seriously mistaken; which I don't think I am; by that they meant podiums rather than 3rd in the WCCMIKEY_! wrote:WOW that would be one incredible achievement! Unless this is just the sort of PR stuff we used to see from MGP

They have purchaced land adjacent to their factory in Silverstone to build their first all purpose wind tunnel and a simulator, this building is also to house their design office as well.
The building is still to get planning permission passed, but id expect this to be a formality. Id recon that they will bring in McLaren for their simulator simmilar to what Lotus did last year to get the thing up and running (Albeit they will have to develop their own software) as for their tunnel, there are enough specialists out there, and the Design Office is a easy-ish one to get uup and running. Id also expect a gym as well for the drivers to do alot more in as well.
All the space that the design office and their small gym in their only building at present id expect to see taken over by more carbon fiber guys as it will probably mean that Force India could start to make their chassis in house and not by their present sub contractor EPM Technology, who also supply Marussia.
Id expect Force India to grow in 2013 once all this infrustructure is up and running they will make inroads in 2013. However its 2014 id expect there to be more improvement.
Force India have plenty of space, and if they keep coming 6th they can invest in infrustructure that will see them grow into a top 5 challanging team in no time.
Words spoken with an authoritative tone is no guarantee of accuracy, in the 60% wind tunnel thread he appears unaware that FI even have a tunnelmultisync wrote:Top post and right in most aspectsESPImperium wrote:Im giving Force India the target of finishing 6th again this season as well, if they can finish 6th for 2 years in a row they can grow in 2013, the reason for this is budget, and build time. They do have other buildings. The present wind tunnel itself and adjcent to it they rent a small office block for some of their designers and laser machines.
That apart your sources are extremely good =D>
I was congratulating him based on what I know 'v' what he posted.Based on that, I personally consider this to be pretty darn close to the current thinkingczt wrote:Words spoken with an authoritative tone is no guarantee of accuracy, in the 60% wind tunnel thread he appears unaware that FI even have a tunnelmultisync wrote:Top post and right in most aspectsESPImperium wrote:Im giving Force India the target of finishing 6th again this season as well, if they can finish 6th for 2 years in a row they can grow in 2013, the reason for this is budget, and build time.
