Of course not. Starting from 0 means you have absolutely nothing. No money; no previous designs; no employees... Brawn GP didn't start from 0 in 2009; and Mercedes GP didn't start from 0 in 2010.

A management change and ownership change at the same time is a very big change. Yes. But it is NOT starting from 0
You got a point there but still almost all the employers are new and they bought the team in july so they started the desings after buying the team.

They were/are in trouble but, firstly Minardi came one time in the first race with only one complete car while the second was assembled in the australian paddock.
Secondly, Arrows which scored point in each season since 1992 until the end and which did not seemed that bad in 2000-2001, did not finished the 2002 season...
We can never know.

Maybe they will be lucky enough to grow up and fight for podiums in 10 years :D
Yes I am sure all Spanish F1 fans hope HRT fights for podiums one day, most of the Larger European countries have had their go at F1. So Spain is relatively late and this is something important. How things are now with HRT its not looking good Hopefully we wont be disappointed.

Yes the Dallara car has gone, you will only see that at Jerez.

Any staff that HRT are using from Colin Kolles will be gone before the season starts.

That Marussia doesnt show up doesnt mean that HRT's organisation isn't crappy, I do not even see close resemblance to both.
Of course Wrsley123 Hrt is and will be the worse team in F1 but the problem is they never been the last one in two years. So if for u Hrt has a crappy organitation think what tipe of organitation had Virgin.
Virgin wasnt good either, guess why they sacked Wirth and rebuild the whole team?

There is one difference between both though, companies actually want to sponsor Marussia and a big team wants to work hand in hand with the team, on the other hand HRT doesnt get such partnership and has yet to find big sponsors.

Hmm, if HRT is on the right path Marussia would be going on a superb path, Technical partnership with McLaren, Title sponsors and an healthy, stabler environment, that is a big one up on HRT.

1. What driver do we got here? A driver that is simply too slow
2. By this every team already assigned at least one driver
2. New employeers.
1. Every team changes employees every year.
2. This wasnt needed if HRT sacked Kolles, effectively leaving them with no base.
3. from 0 to 18000 followers on facebook.
Definetely going to help them win world championships. A band that barely anyone knows of has more followers on facebook.
4. A new official suplier.
Where on the other end all other teams have at least 10-20 of them, and HRT does it with one, one amazing achievement.
6. They never said "We will be in the first test"
They did, it is just that you do not want to read it.
7. New Base.
If they didn't sack Kolles they didnt need to
8. New car. (chassis made by Hrt not Dallara)
Like they had said last year.
Namely a new team. (These happened in 5 months)
If they were well organised they would take longer. They now once again rushed themselves into things, probably barely thinking it through.

Honestly I doubt they make it to the first grand prix, they probably run their old car in the first grand prix' of the year. From every team there is good news about the car from outsiders, except HRT where the only talk is going on is that the car wont be ready for the first tests, and they try to run the old car the first few races. The FIA needs to take away their license, they make F1 look like a complete farce.

Pedro de la Rosa is a great driver and that's why McLaren rehired him from Sauber (Hamilton wanted him on the team). Also, almost every spanish F1 fans love Pedro (he is rated higher than Alonso) and hiring him was a great move from HRT, because that can attract Spanish companies for sponsorship reasons.

Pedro's race in Canada shows that he can be many things, but not slow.

I think they could have done a better job especially at such a critical time. They should have just stuck with Kolles until mid season or at least after the new car was delivered and stable. Maybe there was more to it then what we were told.

HRT are doing too many risky things all at once. If Luis Pérez-Sala delivers a new car by the second test or HRT survives at least, then I would say he is a worthy replacement for Kolles. At the moment I am really worried and I am a fan!
From what I have read Sala has been very active in motorsport and well connected.

We know Pedro is a fantastic test and development driver; and knows how to set up a car well. But I've never heard of Hamilton asking for Pedro. Do you have a source for that?

Just like Gene and Badoer were/are excellent test drivers, but we know that they didn't cut it as F1 racers. That's what has me worried in this case; that there won't be someone to ring this machines neck out.

I would think though that one of the key characteristics of a good test driver is consistency; not in terms of scoring points but in terms of lap times. Consistent in a way that when you see the car going faster; you know it's not the driver; it's the car's setup, or the new upgrade, or whatever.

That, for example, was one of the key points that Alan Permane (Lotus chief engineer) has praised about Kimi. They put him on a quali simulation; then added some fuel in; and calculated the estimated fuel effect, and Kimi produced a lap on the new fuel weight only hundredths away from the calculated lap time.
