Thanks beelsebob, much appreciatedbeelsebob wrote:Congrats to you guys – an absolutely beautifully put together model. I'd love to see how fast it actually is – it looks like it should go like the proverbial --- off a shovel.
That is mainly the reason why I do not believe these rumors, apart from that it will be banned directly on safety groundsjordangp wrote:How will Ferrari get away with it, if the rumours come to fruition?
It depends on if Ferrari have a cutout like your floor or not, they could have the wing things leading to the cockpit like yours, but with the cutouts aswell... I'm not sure, the one bit that fascinates me is the sidepods, did you make mock-ups of radiators, I would be interested to see the layout of the radiators and exhaust. Best of luck in the championship,,, although with this car, I doubt you will need itwesley123 wrote:That is mainly the reason why I do not believe these rumors, apart from that it will be banned directly on safety groundsjordangp wrote:How will Ferrari get away with it, if the rumours come to fruition?
very nice, 1 question, where is the DRS actuator?jordangp wrote:I guess we'll wait on Formula Sketch's verdict, and the Ferrari launch to happen. The radiators are placed longitudinally, and exhaust layout too several attempts to get them to work with the narrow sidepods
But if I remember correctly, 3rd element on rear wing is banned from the beginning of 2004. They were used from all teams in 2003, but no one used it from 2004 onwards.jordangp wrote:DRS actuator is within the endplates for this version of the rear wing.
If you read the rules ringo, there is nothing banning the 3rd element on the rear wing.
No point in the sidepods as a cross section there are 2 curves, as 1 stops, the other starts, which makes it legal.
which is why Honda did this in 2004 to make it legalCuky wrote:But if I remember correctly, 3rd element on rear wing is banned from the beginning of 2004.
