But Force India and Caterham don't have Lego models for us to postCrucial_Xtreme wrote:Funny how only the Ferrari thread gets spammed with lego models & other crap. Pathetic.
Well isn't Caterham just spammed with pictured of platypuses, crocodiles etc?Crucial_Xtreme wrote:Funny how only the Ferrari thread gets spammed with lego models & other crap. Pathetic.
maybe the renault r27?Lurk wrote: More seriously concerning the sidepod entries, it seems that only the top is arched on the contrary of W02. And I am pretty sure Ferrari already ran something similar (maybe not as extreme). F2007 maybe ?
edit : after checking maybe not after all...
Lol, I know it was an attempt at sarcasm. It doesn't come off as intended.jordangp wrote:Well isn't Caterham just spammed with pictured of platypuses, crocodiles etc?Crucial_Xtreme wrote:Funny how only the Ferrari thread gets spammed with lego models & other crap. Pathetic.
Isn't the tub a season homologated part? That is, once it's tested and signed off at the start then it's set for the season? Presumably a new suspension design would require a totally new tub...Crucial_Xtreme wrote:Lol, I know it was an attempt at sarcasm. Meh. Everyone says this every year. That the cars look different or weird or silly. E.g. - when the broad front wings and narrow rears came in.bhallg2k wrote:I know it doesn't matter, that form follows function, especially in a world where only results count, and especially with a car in which it's quite obvious the designers have taken genuine risks. My stomach, on the other hand, feels a little queasy. It's skeptical. I think it's because my eyes aren't making a very good argument to the rest of me that the images they're reporting are real. "Bullshit!" my stomach says, "We're just getting sick and 'seeing things' again," and is assuming its role as my biological bouncer and is making preparations to clear the room.
I guess this is all my way of saying that perhaps Formula 1 has finally jumped the shark with the regulations. Anything that produces such a staggering collection of compromises needs to be reexamined from the top down, because something has clearly gone wrong.
