Hang on, what's going on under that diffuser? The two roundish things just off-centre?

Just diffuser vanes...I have never seen a multi-element section in the central 15mm..esp in the starter hole area..

You can't have that since 2009, no hole permitted in the nose area apart from one at the tip for driver cooling.

I should think the air from the cockpit may feed it. As Horse suggests.

Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

redbull clones, all of em.

Anyway this car has a pseudo Merc W02 nose style. The underside is a direct copy.

There is a minimum cross sectional area rule, so to get the thin nose, it has to be very wide to keep the area above the minimum, hence the platypus look.

All these cars look like winners.
For Sure!!

Looking at the rear photo, despite the car looking quite well lined up the crash structure doesn't look symmetrical around the light. Nice thinking by sauber on the nose outlet though

It's asymmetrical as well which makes me think it's either testing equipment or an attachment for the starter-motor to hold on to.

I think the shadow from the rear wing is playing with things.

Inlet and outlet for the "blown" wing? Just a complete shot in the dark. Nothing to back myself up.

The wing is supported from the top to allow air across the full length of the bottom. I don't think it is blown.

Could it be a passive blown beam wing? I remember Mercedes for having those outlet when they are running the passive F-duct
