Ferrari F2012

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Usually you can see some patterns from flo-vis, but I'm stuck on this one. Or is this at the start of a run? (which I don't think so)

Are Ferrari using some loophole to run in excess of two elements on the edges of the rear wing?

Lots of heat tape on the underside of the rear wing beam. Definately evaluating heat at that point and effectiveness of blowing. With the exhaust slot like McLaren it looks like they're onto similar ideas.

Isn't that the mandatory slot separator to stop the rear wing flap flexing and closing the slot. Wasn't it spain last year where they extended those up into a giant gurney ?
