Hi guys, just thought I'd create a thread so we can compare the 2012 cars relative to each other. To start off:

Red Bull RB8:


McLaren MP4-27:

An interesting comparison shot, but notice how the front wheel of the ferrari is seemingly going up-hill relative to the RB. I think the angles of these two pictures was quite a bit off.

Still interesting though...

And they were doing very similar times in their long run race sims weren't they? Sounds like the we'll have a situation where the McL will basically be able to do the samelaptimes as the RB8; except it does so by generating downforce from the rear wing; the RB from the chassis. Having said that; the McL was said to be killing the speedtraps all day while being less in S2/S3...

So sounds like we'll see the McL running more wing than the RB at most races; will have more straightline speed; but less cornering; and achieving similar laptimes.

Always my favorite post of the year...these comparisons. I liked last years Lotus-Renault...and this years Lotus. Great looking cars....shame they don't work (hope they get it sorted). I do dislike the how the cars are becoming more uniform in design....soon it will only be the paint jobs that differentiate them from one another. If I were a betting man...I'd bet on RB and Mc (but will hope for Fr and
Lotus).
