http://live.autosport - 11:06 Williams informs us that it is not planning to do qualifying runs at Jerez. Lots of teams focused on more important work at the moment

-

12:41 Another very consistent run from Senna, who did 11 laps between mid 1m22s and high 1m23s. His average was 1m23.1s, and interestingly he got quicker and quicker for the first five laps before tailing off.

Sign that the fw34 is well balanced and hiding the game???

Anyone get any thoughts on what Mercedes are up to?
They appear to have done a lot of laps just to benchmark the 2012 tyres... :?:

they intend to get all the work done in 3 days instead of 4...long weekend coming up maybe?

So... that Lotus.

Fast, light, or being compared to heavy cars?

Has anyone had a look through the lap charts and tyres used for each run (and run length) to try and see how it compares to potentially comparable runs from other teams?

Sauber also looked fast last year in testing, Lotus are maybe working on knowing the tires on differente fuel loads.

If you call the Stuttgart-suits sponsors, then yes, when I'm certain there's a few of those present in southern Spain?

Peter Windsor has written good things after seeing the car in action. Hmm...
Pastor Maldonado was out late in the Williams FW34 – around 4:00pm – but at Turn Five, where I was watching at that point, he was sensationally fast. The Williams looked very good at this fast corner, which I think augers well for the season ahead. The car seemed less effective into the hairpin, and through the slow-speed chicane, although Pastor was on hard tyres and a very heavy fuel load at this point so it was difficult to judge. In terms of his driving, Pastor looked excellent, I thought - neat, precise and efficient.

If it looks stable but isn't producing the laptime, that's not saying much

These tyres look half blistered - heat from the exhaust?

I only see it on the tyre on top right (facing away). Whose tyres are those?

tyres on the floor are front tyres, so no blistering from exhaust
