The E20 fw is the same as the one on the R31, and there is no tunnel on the endplate...

yeah, it's the same wing as end of last season. It's been a long time since I've seen you around pascal. I think your car had something similar didnt it?

Yeah i realized.
the tunnel on my wing is different however. it doesnt put air under the end plate. It pushes it out around the outside of the wheel.
Non existent in F1, and it seems probably not necessary as no team has used it.

Could you have a tunnel from the tea tray, underneath the cockpit and so on, that exits at the rear? (Seems like as good of a place as any to ask.)

Would function a bit like the STR sidepods from last year. It could work but getting enough air volume through the system would be a challenge without compromising other parts of the car.

Which software is used for this design?
And one more question.How to do test of aerodynamic efficiency?

this is solid works. For aero efficiency i guess you find the Lift/ drag of the car.

When i test; which is really just my little amateur testing. I do the whole car, but i only draw results from say the rear wing, then the front wing, then the body, then the floor; to isolate the parts and see how well they do and what they contribute.
Ofcourse some times i do the whole car and get the L/D or the center of pressure.

I need to get back on this, this weekend. Keep making promises i cant keep with the car. Gonna change it to 2012. Nose will be interesting design.

Ringo if you get a chance could you upload the car, as a fellow solidworks user i would love to see the technique used to model the car and maybe run some cfd on it for fun.

Good surfacing skills...
Have you considered continuity of the surfaces while modelling the car? Do you have information on which continuity type is being used in F1, or does it matter on aerodynamic performance of the car?
