That seems to confirm the wheel are round.

Another few days to go so plenty of time to debate if the Merc star is real or not. It looks real to me, I can see the ridges, and it would also help with boundary layer separation for the stepped nose.

Holy cow, so there is a bulbous profile up there, not dodgy lighting! The sculpting on the cover....something like the early 90s cars, perhaps? Like the Scuderia Italia.


The nose is quite clearly stepped, or at least appears to be from that angle, unless the tip is a fake rendering.

The inlets remind me of the MP4-26.

It is still not possible to predict wether it is stepped or sloped gently.

The area is fully darkened & it could be anything.

Edit - Saw the new picture,more chance of it being stepped. I always thought they will go for a stepped nose. They went for a high nose abandoning years of low nose & why should they abandon this concept now that everyone is going for a high nose too.

Having said that I cant be 100% certain from such picture. 21st Will Tell the Story.

Played around with the teaser in photoshop.

Some sections are just not there at all like the nose 'bump' if there is one.

That's the W02. Look at the nose, air box, mirrors, humps around driver's head, ect.

It seems almost certain to be a duck billed nose.

Look at the end of the nose its similar to the Force india.

The mclarens nose droops right at the end and is quite thick where as this nose is quite thin at the end.

May be changing my bet to a stepped duck bill...sigh.

I think the image is genuine. The air intake on this car looks nothing like the ones on the W01 and W02.

I find interesting that the twitter teaser is showin two features that were not on th w02 8if I rmemebre correctly):
-rings inside the front wheel rims
-second inlet behind/above airbox

the sidepod attahcment - mirror zone seems original

Those inlets on the airbox are on the W02.

The wheel rings are new.
