I can see blue coloured walls too. Why did he try inters?? Maybe he wanted to see how a car with intermediate tyres behaves on a full dry track??raymondu999 wrote:Here:cirrusflyer wrote:Sorry! Dont know how to post a picture from F1 Official site (galery).
On 59/ 75 you could see a patern on MSC tyers. ALO has non. What kind of tyers are those or are they just worned out?
MSC is on inters - those are just the inters grooves
You can see flo-vis on the roll hoops so it's just for aero testing I guess.Mr.S wrote:I can see blue coloured walls too. Why did he try inters?? Look at that W-duct in action (YouTube video's name for the front-wing switching blowing device which isn't really an f-duct)! Oh wait...hmm, maybe not working or not existing at all.bosanac1 wrote:few pics from today [click view image for higher resolution]

Nor is their plutonium suspension keeping them that flat in the corners.volarchico wrote:Look at that W-duct in action (YouTube video's name for the front-wing switching blowing device which isn't really an f-duct)! I am not a believer.

I agree about the huge amount of body roll. The video I referenced showed that in a turn, the duct switched to increase df on the inner element (in this case the right part of the wing) to "level" the front wing during a turn. Sorry, my sarcasm is not clear. Put directly: I don't believe in the w-duct.gilgen wrote: That car is rolling more than a drunken sailor!
Mr.S wrote:So you have 1 image where the FW touch the floor. Hasn't the Ferrari doing this lap after lap in a whole race last year with Massa's ridiculous FW.
Hell RBR's wing was flexing hugely & in Singapore nearly everyone of the Top 5 teams had their FW touching the ground. Big Deal.
The car looks good, car looks fast. Michael has loads of consistent 1-24's with Mediums/Hards & that is good for their 1st Official day of testing. Espcially if they had not used DRS during those laps. I think we can rule them out RUNNING Ultra light or almost empty.
