I agree with you mate. That is insanely tight. Truly a work of art. The way it's sculpted in the back, the bodywork to the heat shielding. 2nd to none really.

On another note, SpeedTV commentator said that RB is having serious problems on pit stops with their new attached wheel nuts.

And I'm sure you read about them still blowing off throttle?

RB8 is for sure tighter at the rear than the 7. I've built the RB7, so I'm quite sure.

I don't think I can agree with that raymondu999. The RB8 vents some of its heated radiator air around the coke bottle region, just above the floor and ahead or the diffuser. This gives the car a slightly wider 'waist'.

That's pre season testing. In the most races (I don't know if it was every race), RB had hot air outlets on the side of the gearbox. And that's made the rear more wide:

That fairing on the rear arm is fairly conclusive, isn't it (I didn't even have to add an arrow, the RB mechanic at bottom is doing it for me). To shamelessly quote myself from the launch, "looks like Adrian designed the wishbones this year".

So do we think RBR will be running a 60KW KERS this year? Because if they carried the 40/44KW system from 2011 all through the year, there's about 0.2s a lap available to them just from putting another couple of D-cells in there somewhere*.

Could that be the exist of air collected at the slot in the hump of the front wing? Would this add any value, advantage?
