oh, here's a note..
When Brawn was quizzed about the "cooling issues" here's his reply
Asked if the W03 was better than last year's car, he replied: "Yes, very much so. Some of the fundamentals are good, the cooling is good, the systems are working well and it means that all of our engineers can focus on finding performance from the very beginning.

again, The Master Genius had answered that..
"I think the difficulty is that we are in relatively cool conditions in Barcelona trying to work out what the degradation is going to be with different tracks and different ambients and different duty cycles, so it is a little bit difficult to predict," he said.
Make any sense?

Because it looks cool, is a lot faster than airbrushing it, and makes bugger all aero difference.
Mclaren used to used a vinyl one that looked 3d surely the best idea.

the rear wing has scoops maybe to provide more rear end downforce to improve rear tyre wear as with the new front wing there seems to be alot of downforce at the front and less downforce at the rear.

That doesn't look like the W03 though? More like the Sauber.

Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

Cutting edge of the last wingplate, just at that support.
Looks like some floor that you can see behind the end plate is being deceiving.

On the subject of tyre degradation. Mercedes have said that the the temperatures at Barcelona are low and due to the amount of testing the track has a lot more rubber down than there would be at a GP weekend, so no conclusions can be drawn. However I'm slightly pessimistic about this. Although the absolute figures for degradation won't be the same I'm sure the pattern is correct, the Mercedes has worse tyre degradation than the Lotus and the Redbull. Can someone with superior knowledge of tyre degradation put my mind at rest?
