You mean the PSL-only parking lot, not that big, is it now?Pup wrote:I think that's the parking lot.
You don't see them travelling that glorious access road in their limos then?Pup wrote:Most of the PSL buyers should arrive by helicopter.
Let's not make this a habit, ok? The world makes far more sense to me when it's one in which you and I don't agree on anything.WhiteBlue wrote:bhallg2k, I think we have closed some of the gap between our views by the discussion.
Sad. I live about two hours from Austin, and I am NOT going to the race (and I do believe there will be one). I won't support the Alice in Wonderland financial lunacy that is F1.WhiteBlue wrote:bhallg2k, I think we have closed some of the gap between our views by the discussion. For me a regular participation as an F1 race goer is not feasible although I live only 300 km from Hockenheim and 450 km from Nürburgring or Monza. I could do a day trip to a GP for $650 if I were interested. I have seen a number of GPs locally among them Silverstone and Indianapolis. And frankly I prefer to watch the races live from my HDTV. It would probably be different if you could have access to the paddock for a reasonable price but that is impossible in F1.
What bothers me the most is this systematic looting of the taxpayers' money, it's truly revolting.donskar wrote: ...

IF it's a good idea,,,IF it's a money maker. then there should be plenty of private funding available.
