I understand its going to be wet all day today, has there been any changes to the number of wet and inter tyres that each team has for the practice, quali and race.

That was on the improval report from last year. There and where the Button/Massa incident happened (Turn 11/12) as well now has a penalty for going over the limit, and i feel this is going to penalise the inaccurate and also make some interesting set up compromise as it will make this corner a corner where you now shift to 5th after it and not before it as there may be a bigger lap time increase as you can punch out the corner better instead of punching thru it as you once could.

This improvement could put half a second on the lap time, which is always a good thing.

I assume you mean "improvement report"

Why is increasing lap time always a good thing?
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

Slower to me means more mistakes, however that is just my thinking out loud and trying to stay awake after a day at work and staying awake for FP1 as well.

For those of you interested in the weather over the weekend, this tends to be quite an accurate source

Click on melbourne for weather, or radar is on the right.

Sitting at home waiting for the F1s to take to the track, can't wait to stick my head out the window and hear them :D

Does anyone know what time FP1 and FP2 are, GMT or Local?

Guys I'm at the track right now, not sure if it comes across on tv, but the Red Bull has a very distinct overrun out of slower corners, much like last year. Same with one of the Saubers too. Everyone else sounds very clean. Except for the HRT.. That sounded like it had a broken exhaust..
