That's what most teams do in free practice. Do a stint simulation.

Still hard to say. RBR could be running a race start simulation, and maybe Mercedes last stint.

RBR could be carrying 150kg of fuel vs MS 15-16 lap.
FP3 (if dry) will give a complete different picture.

We don't know at this stage - it could be accurate - it could be false. That's all I'm saying. Weather; fuel effect etc would all have a part

In FP2 I was standing down-track from the fast left-right of T9/10, and kept an eye on who was using DRS down towards Ascari..

(quali-style) DRS users: Schumacher, Alonso, STR, Force India, Caterham, Marussia.
No DRS: RBR, McLaren, Rosberg, Massa.

And a few I can't recall..

Seeing that, and then later noting the times, it's clear to see why the times ended as they did.

Earlier in the session, I noticed the Saubers and the STRs were incredibly twitchy on corner exit. Constant corrections needed by their drivers, particularly Vergne & Kobayashi. Perez & Ricciardo are definitely smoother looking drivers in their respective handfuls!

As much as it's nice to have Hamilton's friends in the pits. I think Nicole is bad luck for his title hopes. Felt like something bad is going to happen to his race when she popped up on camera.
For Sure!!
