Raikkonen is out of the question here. What you said is quite evident from the pace of the Lotus. I hope he is more comfortable with the steering system by now.

I am just curious to know how will the Ferrari fair in the race tomorrow.

maybe with higher fuel load the car might be more stable. I suspect the F2012 might be overly sensitive to change in condition and very difficult to set up.

Going back a few years then!! I was thinking Renault Turbo days ?? they always seemed to have french drivers

WTF ?!? Didn't they pass the effin scrutineering ? I don't recall the bulls being stripped down even when they were 7 tenths faster than anyone else with all those flexi stuff as well... This just doesn't feel right. If it's the way I feel it is, it stinks.

Back to F1..... So what did everyone think of the coverage on sky for todays qualifying hour ? I like how the Red button has alot more than the BBC did. Although i will always have my laptop on my lap with the live timing from the offiical website

All the red button stuff is in HD too, which was annoying on BBC since I had to watch it in on red button to get Crofty's commentary.

I also have my laptop open, but there was a good screen on red button ('4' I think) which showed race, live timings, driver tracker and a driver cam on one screen. And when you zoom into a 'non-race' feed it always keeps a mini window open for you.

I do miss the presenting style of Jake Humphrey, but I'll wait until after tomorrow program to make a full appraisal.

Well, these images of the f1 driver turning and looking into the camera is really cheesy and makes it feel cheap.
And why did they show the grid results from tenth down to pole, and then the rest of the field? Ive always seen it, on any motorsport coverage, start from the poleman and go towards the back of the grid.
and the 'Skypad'.. what?
of course they're only small issues, however the presenting just seems poor. Jake Humphries replacement guy and Damon Hill both always seem to be scrambling around for something appropriate to say.

Well, Kimi said he came back to F1 because he missed racing against other drivers. Plenty of them between him and his team-mate to enjoy..

This is going to be a classic intra-team battle year, I feel. Hamilton vs Button obviously but Webber really has got his pre-EBD parity back, Schuey and Rosberg, Lotus, Maldonado and Senna even. Can't wait.

Just to touch on the whole home nations thing my biggest issue is with some countries calling Britain -England the worst example was when i was in America on holiday and seen an advert for upcoming tennis, calling Andy Murray "England's finest" Urgh!

Back on topic apparently the issue with mclaren at scrutinising was the front wing at the wrong height (from maxis news) But if this was so why did it take so long to measure it?

My bet would be because what they care about is the back of the front wing, when it flexes down. My guess is that the FIA aren't happy that McLaren have found a way to increase wing flex, but still pass the tests.

Why are the FIA cracking down on that now, after all these years of Red Bull having such an obviously flexing front wing. Wish they'd just be consistent!
