He did mistakes during his qualifying laps. Pressure for sure was a cause of them

In all fairness, I have done my stats. If anyone wants to make a quick mint I have put down £4k on the pole position to be 0.150 better than 2nd place.
Be that Hamilton doing Button, or Rozy doing Schumi. If Vettel does it fair play, the bastard cost me 4k.

Rock n roll bros.
£3700 smackers coming my way thanks.... by 0.002 of a second,

Much like Schumacher last year. Those were labelled 'excuses' by many, interestingly I don't quite see the same reaction now that it's Rosberg making the mistakes.

Schumacher has not disappointed me .He never was the brilliant qualifier and has done enough to be in perfect position to go for a podium.
I almost expected Nico to:look for excuses...he blamed the car balance for his lack of shine...when Schu hailed the team for its formidable effort in the last months..and the potential to keep the development pace over season...guess who makes more friends and supporters in the team?

I was expecting Rosberg to be in contention. He will be in the coming races. Schumacher surprised. I hope he jumps the Lotus off the start and gets a podium. I'm curious to see the Mclaren pace. The Bulls may not be too bad in race trim either.

I think he's far more confident and somehow his driving is more fluid than previous 2 years...

as i have aired several times in the last two years:
Is it possible Schumacher held deliberately back in favour of peace within the team? It would be a very plausible explanation for him being so relaxed with Rosberg beating him again and again in qualy.

I once had a driver ex-European karting champ who said to me:Why bother with Qualy ,the race is what it´s all about .I will sniff them up one after the other anyways...It could be with age you just don´t waste effort for things just to boost your ego.
Now with the car suiting his style he is at ease extracting the last drop of performance and it´s not such an effort anymore and worthwhile doing -as they are in striking distance...

Maybe he didn't only injured his neck in the famous motoraccident somewhere in 2009. If Schumacher really would be comfortable a team mate beat him, he must have injured his brain also.
Schumacher can't stand anyone else to win. He never did and he never will.
His way of reacting and handling interviews is the smartest thing he can do. He is acting like he is only enjoying and winning doesnt mather at all.
Isn't Schumacher the one who screemed that he would go for WC in his third year at Mercedes? Yes he is.
Schumacher is the same Schumacher as we saw in the 90's. On a bad day he maybe is 0,2 0,3s slower a lap.

+1

The W03 suits his driving style and he's very happy with its handling. I think we ll see a tense teammate battle this year at Mercedes. If there's a chance that the car can fight for the title, we know who has the right stuff to get the job done.

I have always thought that perhaps the EBD did not suit Michael's driving style. He's just the kind of driver that likes to steer with his right foot, something the EBD and last year's tires may have not been good for. There were even reports of the team asking him not to ride the accelerator pedal.

I'm hoping this year will be better for him. The car seems to suit him well and I look forward to seeing him coming close to his former self. If this is going to be his last year in F1, I really hope he finds some degree of success.
