Button pits, hamilton will have to cope for another lap with shot tyres. That's going to get him right out in front of Vettel. Big big issue. McLaren held on too long.

what happened? seriously, what happened? Good FP's, good qualy. But race? Just rubbish. RBR was on their tail constantly. Even Ferrari is better than Mercedes.

Yeah solid job by Alonso and Ferrari. I am really impressed by Alonso. Also mad respect to Vettel, he is consistently quick.

Hamilton picking up the pace now he's switched the tyres on and has clear air. Takes 1 second out of Button, takes 0.4 out of Vettel despite Vettel being on the softer tyre. Button picking the pace up again. McLaren looking good for the win here even though Vettel looks like a threat still.

7/10ths faster this time for Hamilton. Vettel matches this pace.

Hamilton getting purple sectors again. Wonder if they've switched his strategy knowing that Vettel is too close to play it cautiously so are going for a three stop here along with the bulk of the rest of the field. Would need to do 10 more laps at least to stay on a two stopper.

Gap to button down to 9.6 seconds but Button is matching Hamilton this lap
