yeah solid job by JB.

What we can take away from this race is that RBR are still quick! Its ridiculously close between Mclaren and RBR.

Disappointed with Hamilton's performance in the race. Seemed like he was slower than JB and both Red Bulls on race pace.

And for this year the winner of every race will be:

1st: world champion "a"
2nd: world champion "b"
3rd: world champion "c"

p/s: we got 6 world champions....

Poor Maldonado. Great job from him but drive of the day still goes to Alonso. 12 - 5. Massa is doomed.

Typical finish for Maldonado. He was never gonna take Alonso on the last lap.

My take away is that McLaren have enough in hand to be able to compromise quali pace a bit in favour of race pace - should they need to. Don't forget that Australia is a funny circuit so could see a very different result on more traditional races.

I think in the next couple of races we'll actually see a stronger McLaren. I also hope that Mercedes use their heads and set the car up for the race knowing that they have good quali pace but not enough of a margin to grab pole and control the race.

Congrats Button! Looks like he is one of the man on form at the moment. Moreover, Mclaren is fast! RB8 does not have the extra boost anymore, instead, it looks as if Mclaren is one with the "extra boost".
Looks like this year is the Vettel vs Button year! If Schumacher, Alonso have a equal cars, they would easily be in the mix.
Good on Raikkonen, he is still fast! But I think he needs to be more focused as the competition level is higher than ever.
Hamilton... hehehe... oh well, at least he qualify first. Massa, he has found other companion to crash into.
Rosberg... I remember Webber called him Britney. Personally, he is not hungry enough.

Wouldn't write off Hamilton just yet. They clearly got the setup just a little bit wrong so he was having to protect the rear tyres the whole time and couldn't attack. I have no doubt he'll bounce back for the next race. Without that safety car he probably would have kept second, although we'll never know.
