I somehow feel that McLaren 1-2 is unlikely but I can't explain it on logical grounds. One of the McLaren drivers will make a mistake or will have a reliability issue but thats just an instinctive feeling, it doesn't necessarily mean that I prefer it this way.
I never intended it to be analysis. At the moment it is just wild guess as you put it. But it is certainly different from testing, for example we have 2 tyre compounds compared to the 4 from testing, and lap times of longer runs were set at the same time of day in identical conditions. Should it be a dry race and should both MGP drivers be able to finish race then I could make some educated guesses like what was there average and best lap times in a given stint and how does this compare to their fastest practice session times and long run times and above all in comparison to long runs of other teams. It could then suggest who was running lighter on long runs during practice.Pup wrote:Are you guys really going to argue about an analysis that is entirely based on a wiild guess of fuel loads? What, are we back in testing again?
Man, I think I should not have posted the table in first place because every time someone says something about it, i feel compulsory to clarify my position as if I have said something utterly wrong or silly. But this is last post on this particular subject so if I don't reply to any thing relevant to it do not presume that I am being rude.
