McLaren 1 - 2, Webber 3rd. Vettel 6th but starting on the hard tyres. Wow Schumacher now up to third. Raikkonen has a grid penalty...

So Vettel will start 5th on the hard tyre. Will be interesting to see if the other cars will get the jump on him at the start, Grosjean and usually fast starting Rosberg and Alonso.

Interesting, another Mclaren front row. Remember Mercedes race pace was poor. Kimi looking good.

Vettel on the Harder tyre , but I heard (I think) Eric Boullier say the Harder tyre was only 2tenths slower than the Softer compound.

Vettel very lucky not to be 8th on the grid with Grosjean and Rosberg being just 0.03s behind!

Alonso 1.3 seconds off pole.

Schumacher beating Rosberg again. Well done oold chap.

I hated Schumi up until 07, but as soon as he retired i missed him, and i welcomed him back. Good to see him finally on top of his team mate (appears to be)

Fantastic Vettel, the only one with the hard tyres. His lap was BRILLANT.

That would tally. VET is only about .17 slower than Webber. Would be interesting to see how the durability is though.

I think his first Q3 run was also on the hards - that's what my iPad F1 timing app was telling me anyways. Means he has 2 sets of new options.

Wow, Hamilton with apparently time to spare after a big mistake into the last corner. Will be interesting to see what Vettel can do, or if he will get swamped at the start tomorrow.

And Schumi! I really hope he has a good race, hope he beats the Red Bulls!

Good News for HRT... The Q1 time was 1'36'219 and the 107% time is 1'42'954.

That means HRT (PDLR) are within 107% of pole where as a lot of people thought they wouldn't make 107% of Q1 !!

Vettel just said on rtl that we doesnt feel comfortable with the option tyre. So maybe the prime was the faster choice for this quali. He didn't seem that happy about p5

First corner is gonna be real interesting tomorrow... Especially if it's a wet track! Wonder if any of the top teams split their strategy and gambled one car/driver on a compromised setup.

I think Vettel was actually quicker on the hard than the medium, he didn't look good on his first run and was a way off Webber's pace. I also think he's likely to get swamped at the start, with at least Grosjean and Rosberg making things difficult for him, possibly Alonso as well.
