Shocking really. What was all that silly faffing about with tape? Surely they could have planned that better?GrizzleBoy wrote:For anyone trying to dismiss/defend the McLaren garages abysmal performance during pits:

That's all true, but that doesn't dismiss the fact that the HRT doesn't belong on the track with other F1 cars. It's simply too slow. Also, as little as I care for Nicole and the "music" she sells, I feel kinda bad for her. She looks so apprehensive in the garage in every shot I've seen of her. She looks REALLY uncomfortable there. I wonder why.Shrieker wrote:@Ray,
I do fancy Hamilton, however I don't let my feelings cloud my judgement, at least I try. Button's mistake today was low for a top tier F1 driver, yet he didn't get any flak from me or others here, which I think should be the standard for all F1 drivers.
Yet we still know how Hamilton would've fared had he been the one tapping the HRT.
"His head is not in it."
"Nicole bla bla bla.."
"Spoilt brat bla bla bla...His father bla bla. Ron Dennis bla bla bla BLAH!"
Everything isn't black and white. Mercedes was hot in the pits last year, are you going to use that as a crutch to support your whining? Get over yourself, we get it. McLaren made mistakes in the pits, they weren't the only ones and like I said above, on the stop Lewis made where the jack didn't go under correctly he was about a foot past his marks.GrizzleBoy wrote:For anyone trying to dismiss/defend the McLaren garages abysmal performance during pits:

So true, once again Vettel thinks other drivers with just power up their transporter and beam themselves off the track for him! really lame, totally his fault and he needs to man up like Jensen did and admit he screwed up!Hangaku wrote:
NK has nothing to gain from chopping Vettel up, Vettel only had something to lose from being behind NK. At the very best it was a racing incident, that could have been avoided had Vettel not hijacked the corner exit.
Let's do it.SiLo wrote:I think we can all agree, Vettel was partly to blame for his incident, not wholly, Button said it was his fault, so it was his fault, Hamilton had a bit of bad luck with pitstops, possibly cost him the race, Perez made a mistake, he admitted that, and Alonso was hustling the crap out of the car when he needed to. Close thread now?
We all agree on very little and certainly not on what you said. The above is no discussion contribution but rhetorics and unworthy of a forum that deals with engineering and scientific issues.SiLo wrote:I think we can all agree, Vettel was partly to blame for his incident, not wholly, Button said it was his fault, so it was his fault...
When was the last time you admitted that golden balls made a mistake? Never!WhiteBlue wrote:We all agree on very little and certainly not on what you said. The above is no discussion contribution but rhetorics and unworthy of a forum that deals with engineering and scientific issues.
Mercedes has nothing to do with what I said. People were downplaying the pit crews horrible performance and I showed evidence that showed how their poor pits contributed to Hamilton getting put back in third from the lead and being 8 seconds out of the 14 he was behind the leader of the race at the finish.Ray wrote: Everything isn't black and white. No I won't explain. I don't like arguing with someone who just wants to hate all over a team they aren't a part of. If you think McLaren is so terrible I'm sure they'd love to have your talents in the pits. Go and help them out, obviously you think they need it.GrizzleBoy wrote:snip
