I'd personally be happy if one of the Mercs manages 4th or 5th in the race. Podium is maybe asking for too much.

You don't reckon the Mercs can make top 6 in the race, eh?

I wonder if we'll get another wet race here. We've had quite a few wet ones here in recent years. I think 2007 and 2008 were wet (could be wrong), 2009 was a wet race; 2010... you couldn't see the rain, but it was raining. 2011 was the first dry race in quite a while. When was it that they moved it to the start of the season again? 2008? 2007? I remember before they changed it that it used to be ok weather wise...

Alonso and Perez might be quite thrilled if its a wet race. But then again lightning never strikes twice so the same result might be a tad unlikely.

Not convinced that will happen. The other teams now understand much better how to put on a wet setup and how to manage/work the tyres in the wet, reducing the likelihood of a freak result.

Whilst they have been slightly unlucky, Schumacher especially...their race pace hasn't been blinding either. Makes you wonder how fast this car really is, without DRS i.e: pure trim.

The Mercs have yet to show heavy fuel race pace... it's a real enigma.

Hamilton and button both tend to go very well in china, id give lewis the edge though, but i wouldnt be surprised to see a merc on pole, they went pretty decent here last year.

Or even low fuel pace for that matter. Didn't they struggle towards the end in Malaysia too? Where they were being overtaken almost left and right.

AND
Global TV not showing F1 anymore, not any TV station. Sponsors not interested. It's like a major set back for the fans here. Pity us.

Hopefully we will have a normal race after Australia that was considered as a non-normal track, rain in Malaysia, and other unfortunate events by teams. Although certain track suit certain cars.
