If one of their primary issues really was correlation - their CFD output would be erroneous, and as such the data and response curves fed into the sim would be wrong anyways - how accurate would it be to rely on the sim for feedback?

i read the Q&A of Ferrari and it's clear, No B spec car, no Sauber sideposts, and Ferrari never had reactive suspension system.

RB has probably has better team management. Uses its personnel and equipment more efficiently.

We don't know the simulator is out of date. The track wasn't finished until 2004, so obviously the date on the screen means something we don't have knowledge about. Doesn't mean it's out of date.

I think we will have to wait to see what Ferrari will do with thir upgrades to the car. If I concentrate on thier current exhaust solution it's obvious that it's a compromise to obtain the flow of cooling air the same way that was originaly planned. The "downwash" air is probably interacting to current exhaust position in less effective way. I was looking to solution that STR7 has and I think that if F2012 will obtain the current version the team could make this solution more compact. In this way they would obtain the current flow of cooling air under the engine cover and create create tighter rear end which would create less drag. The other benefit could be to point the exhaust more precise with the help of the "downwash" over the sidepods. But as we know str7 and F2012 aren't the same design concepts as one has double floor concept so I was just referring to internal air flow throught the cooling elements. I know it's not the actual part of the car so I apologige to admin's. Ferrari should work on the orignail solution that would restore more performance from the exhaust but minor redesign could optimise current "interm" version.

I'm not sure anyone knows. I posed that exact question a few weeks ago and no one knew--at least they didn't reply, which is not saying that no one knows. But I've found in this forum if someone knows something, they seem to have no problem stating as such.
