From this pic I cant see what claimed to be small winglet in from of the to edge of the sidepod inlet.

[Guess:] It is because they are obscured by the front suspension fixture.

I initially saw the wings but the zoomed in picture you've posted seals it as a reflection for me.

I kinda hope you're right. Then we can proudly state that we were among the very first people in history to ever see reflections that have their shadows.

That zone is affected by laminar fluxes influencing the air volume coming into the inlets. In particular, creating a turbulence should reduce the boundary layer flux, maximizing the volume of air streaming to radiators.

It's not an issue at all. I think your friend is mostly correct, and it's likely he's completely correct; that's just not getting all the way through the language barrier.

Thanks for the original pic, these are realy two small wings. No reflection at all, who want's try to play with brightnes and contrast you will see clearly the egges, shadows...

The car was launched some time ago, so we should be over the "it looks ugly" phase by now.

So there's nothing much to add unless someone has new insight into the front suspension - I'm referring to numeric and geometric studies. The clue is in the name of this website.

Again, the side winglets are gone/not currently present and I don't see the slot under the nose for driver cooling.




Obviously they brought more than one configuration of the engine cover. Dang the shark fin is huge compared to yesterdays pics..

The roll hoop air intake also looks bigger (wider) to me in that pic...
