Watching Lewis onboard through practice you can really see the difference with the mirrors.. they are rock solid this year!

can anyone show oe explain the differences in the new FW i can see any aside from maybe the cascade.

Was the FW and the floor the only updates? or have i missed something else?

Rear wing. Probably just geometry changes. They lost the luveres on the cascade and that's the only change I could spot.

What would be the advantage of getting rid of the louvres on the cascade elements?

A second quicker in FP1 and only 2tenths slower in FP2. I think that FP1 time comes from absolute confidence in the car.

Have we seen any of the changes to the floor? I looked but couldn't find any pictures without all the sensor equipment on.

In my opinion a monkey seat is on of the best ways to produce downforce. Because you can design it in the most effective way. So maybe it brings just a little bit downforce but very effective.

More effective wing element. You don't need to shed drag or worry about stalling as much as on the rear wing.

Perhaps a stronger vortex at that region is more beneficial for redirection of airflow downstream... will cost them some aero efficiency, but that is a very small element anyways.

Not really. It has a very, very low aspect ratio, which results in a lot of induced drag. You are not really limited in terms of profiles that you can use, except the rear wing which only allows 2 element wings. It is in fact much less efficient than the front or rear wing. The advantage is that it helps drive the diffuser and probably takes advantage of an area of relatively clean airflow to get a little bit of extra downforce when you need it.

Vortex won't help you at the back of the car.
The behind of the car is where you don't want the vortices as they don't energize anything but cause drag.
