Solid by Button.
Great stuff from Webber
Superb fighting race by Vettel until the end when the tyres faded.
Hamilton ok shown again that JB is number one at Maclaren.

Webber showing that he should be no 1 at red bull...Vettel just does not have the skill for overtaking other cars.
Yet SV achieved TW WC in a row with MW as a team mate....

This has to be the most exciting race for at least two seasons...

If he made another stop, he would have been around where he started. Solid race from him.
How many cars did we see Vettel pass on track ? Did anyone take any notes?

I usually do , but didnt have my laptop with me. It'll be interesting to see

Bad strategy for Raikkonen meant he didn't get any points, otherwise he should have been on the podium too. Same goes with Schumacher.
Clearly, RB8 is way behind Mclarens and both Webber and Vettel did well in damage control.
They get slaughtered at the straights. Quite a bit down on top speed.

@lionking agreed, RB8 needs to work on their straight lines.

2012 is completely unpredictable so far. Reminded me of 2010. It is almost a roulette sometimes.

Poor Raikonnen, must suck to learn what its like to fall off the cliff in the midst of that much traffic.

That said, that was some fantastic action all around in the last 20 laps or so.

I suspect he only overtook Raikkonen, who had just gone over the cliff with his tyres. Other than that it was all down to pitstop strategy.

He got past a Sauber early on as well when they ran wide (I think). Other than that I don't remember any replays showing him pulling of any overtakes. Indeed his race was pretty anonymous until the three stoppers suddenly dropped behind him and had to make their way through.

Good race by Nico, he deserved this more than anyone else. This race has been more exciting than the whole 2011 season to be honest.

Grosjean finished the race, that is very good, but it would have been better if Kimi scored some points too. Again, good race made by Senna.

Yeah maybe, I think he overtook 1 or 2 in the first few laps, as he was back in 15th at the first sector on lap 1.

Id say 4 in the whole race maybe ?

Alonso needs a mention in regards to this race...running wide in an attempt to overtake seemed llike a basic mistake to me....

Yes this is true. However, they are not related in China at the speed trap.
I question if you even have watched a lap of the track once..

With race fuel, and DRS zone, they hit 99% of their top speed in the race.
Everyone did.

In qualifying everyone hits their top speed because the last corner is not hard on traction and you simply ignore the 1km long straight.

After Lewis & Alonso pitted together , they rejoined the track 10th & 11th.

It was good to see the Mclarens drive right through the whole train to 2nd & 3rd.
Alonso missed out big time with his mistake. only getting to 9th and that was after Kimi's fall.

seriously? You argument on a point yet you don´t even know where the speed trap is?

It´s at the end of the 1 KILOMETER LONG STRAIGHT.

There´s no traction issue there that dis-allows a car to reach it´s top speed on that straight.
