You posted this and it was followed up by Mclaren777 posting some photo's. The implication being that this was unusual.
But all that anyone has done is show that this is the situation this year. Without a benchmark of how it was in previous years how do we know it is unusual? There are several GP on the calendar where the grandstands are empty during practice sessions, does this mean that the people there are also protesting against the gp or their government?
I've done my best by searching through the FIAs archives and unfortunately these are the best I can find over the 2010 and 2009 GP weekends:
That last one is from free practice on Friday in 2009 and clearly shows the grandstand is empty.
So if you want to insinuate or claim that the grand stands being empty this year is in any way shape or form unusual and due to your beloved protests then please show us how packed the stands usually would be during Friday practice.
