I remember back in 1993 Schumy in bennetton had a similar Casio watch on his steering wheel
Back the it was fantastic, but now it's low tech
I hate how f1 has gone backwards in steering wheel displays
I loved how they had all the big LCD displays in 2006
FFs my car has much better LCD displays
I think it should be blamed on Mclaren and their standard ecu
They never had any fancy displays and they simply promoted their displays to all the teams
Anyways, how does it work?
1. Is it connected to car transponder which gives them real time updates?
2. Does the driv press any switch to start and stop it?
3. Or he just looks at the time when he starts and stops and do a difference in his head?
