If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

Considering that the Bahrain GP saw some 50-100 spectators on the main grandstand for qialifying they could have done themselves a favour and run it at Bernie's Paul Ricard circuit. It will probably have enough VIP space for the 2,000 Al-Khalifa relatives that are going to see the race.
Formula One's fundamental ethos is about success coming to those with the most ingenious engineering and best .............................. organization, not to those with the biggest budget. (Dave Richards)

New Radiators (rear mounted), deleted rear wing, added around oh lets say 20 tonnes.

She is "planted" now...speed is an issue however :P

Yes - somewhat draggy too I'd imagine. Though they could load up a few rounds and... you know... they'd blow the competition out of the water. Or off the track

Considering the speed of those things - I'd wager that's more than 2 tenths :P

Why? Are all those who were for the Bahrain race going to attend it for support? Now, that would be too much to ask!

The point is - for those who said they should cancel Bahrain, they loved F1 too much to boycott it by not watching it on the telly. For the others who say it should be business as usual, it is!

Doesn't make any difference whether you or I watch it on the telly as no one will ever know. The argument is invalid as the point of a protest is to publicly show one's objection towards a situation. I might as well argue that I am showing my disagreement with the race going ahead by not attending the race. Expressing one's opinion here is also a form of protest, as it is public.

In the UK at least Sky collect viewing figures, so yes it does make a difference. Plus it's deeply ironic how people claim the moral high ground but then fail to show even token support.
