Rules 20.4 and 16.1 both make it clear that forcing other cars off the track at any time is penalty worthy.Th0R wrote:why should they, one change of the race line is permitted explictly. true, you may change direction once but pushing driver off-road is not allowed.Th0R wrote:why should they, one change of the race line is permitted explictly. I think there won't be any penalty.
That's true, question is whether Rosberg drove Hamilton Off or not....So far the video footage is not clear enough. I guess Hamilton didn't want to swap lines, that's why he went by outside the track. We'll find out soon enough though.beelsebob wrote:Rules 20.4 and 16.1 both make it clear that forcing other cars off the track at any time is penalty worthy.Th0R wrote: why should they, one change of the race line is permitted explictly. My bet is that they stripped the nut in the first stop, and then couldn't get it off again in the second... No idea why the third was a bit slow too.raymondu999 wrote:Anyone know details on WHY the McLaren pitstops were so... rubbish? Yeah! It's ridiculous! This is the kind of thing that can and probably will end up losing them another WCC.boyracer94 wrote:McLaren really need to sort their pitstops out. They are throwing points away, and if they carry on like this, the championship will slip away.
Seems they jsut like to throw points away, I havent seen any good stop from McLaren recently, well not even in the last 3 years. I dont udnerstand why they dont take action on this point, Hamilton and button lost a sh*tload of points, only due to pitstops. Havent seen the races, but if I read correctly Hamilton could already won at least 2 races, but were ruined by pitstops.raymondu999 wrote:Anyone know details on WHY the McLaren pitstops were so... rubbish?
