Lotus E20 Renault

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

They're just tilted forward, which has created the illusion of added height. The upper surface of the nosecone is pretty much horizontal when mounted to the car.

EDIT: This is the first time I've noticed that they're running both wide wings, with a shallow angle of attack, and narrow ones, with a steeper angle of attack.

Scarbs said he thought it was higher too as more teams(McLaren included) are trying to drive flow down to the floors leading edge for more rear DF.

The pylons are further away from each other and in that angle that creates a longer looking gap but if you look its just wider not longer

So much updates on single part. That is interesting for sure.It is like a completely new front wing.
Fernando Alonso is the best pay-to-drive driver in F1 with the biggest amount of money behind him.

Top view on E20. Probably old (Malaysia?) FW or new one with cameras no in bottom central but on side as earlier versions. There are some changes at the top floor near rear wheels. Right click HQ photo.

Edit: added another FW photos
