Here is my latest Rear Wing, and my latest attempt on sidepods. The render makes both look bad however in actuality they are fairly decent. :D =D> 8)

would you be able to give us a shot of the front because the side pods look really small at the front which would greatly affect the amount of air going into them, causing overheating

A few updates; finally. New Sidepods (Again), and an Engine cover. Will attempt to incorporate Wesley's and JordanGP's airbox idea into my car.

The sidepod intake area is really chunky while the intakes themselves are quite small. There's a large vertical face for air to get all draggy on, is there some components hiding in there or is that just how it turned out? The older sidepods (the front half at least) look better to me. Good move with the proposed engine cover.

Your head protection and beamwing is illegal

To be honest the proposed Airbox was way too hard, so i've gone with the conventional airbox. The car is nearly done; Front Wing, Diffuser and Suspension left. And of course the detailing. Here it is so far:

And Nick, why are they?

Beamwing is too high, and the headprotection doesnt slop upwards at the correct angle or enough, look at the 2012 regs and scroll all the way to the bottom few pages and it shows dimensions of the headprotection and you will see what I mean :D

what height is your chassis?

Yes. I followed the dimensions correctly, but then I thought I might edit it. And the Beam Wing looks fine, let me test it and i'll get back to you. What do you think of the car as a whole?

the head protection is illegal, I can tell by looking at it, and what height is your tub? it is good, but i don't understand what your trying to do with the V-nose extending all the way to the tip of the nose (unless your trying to stop overspill, but then you gain drag elsewhere), another thing, the front of your floor is illegal (not allowed to see bodywork from below) (you can see the sidepod from underneath), I would make the sidepod intakes larger, other than the illegalities, it looks fine, although I would extend your engine cover to the max triangular area, as this reduces the 'flapping around' and also helps condition the air for longer.

The v-nose is pretty much fine I reckon, I just cba to make a new one atm.
I'm happy with the engine cover for now.
The Headrest will be fixed in a minute.

EDIT: Hopefully FS will allow the headrest as it is.

Hopefully, but if you want to get faster, do all these things it all helps :)

I told you about that beam wing a month ago...

Don't just design things randomly, make sure they are legal, and in the fight position first.
