Lewis Hamilton has won the Canadian GP, making the best of a two stop strategy. Romain Grosjean finished in second place with Sergio Pérez third on the podium. Sebatian Vettel finished fourth after a late pitstop while Fernando Alonso is 5th after struggling to the end on badly worn tyres.

As I said in the Monaco GP thread this is not correct. They all had tires to go for more pit stops and push harder in between if they so wished, and the overall race duration was very comparable to previous years as far back as 2006, so they weren't really cruising either. Check the post race press conference as well if you wish, they were in fact caught out by how durable the super soft Pirellis were in Monaco!ajdavison2 wrote:This years are worse for deg than last years though, the drivers don't race any more, they just preserve tyres.
