Damn, Schumacher had a brilliant start.FrukostScones wrote:after seeing this over and over again its 65/35 GRo/ALO :

By watching the video I think it is quite obvious it was just a racing incident, as both drivers moved towards each other. Alonso said in the press conference he just run out of space as Hamilton in front of him was way too slow, he lifted but his left rear made contact with Grosjean's right front. Which kinda shows he was already ahead. Now, there's a long history in this forum of arguing about what percentage of a car's length is enough to define someone is in front, so let us not go into that again... Let's see what comes out of the stewards' investigation.Shrieker wrote:Alonso tried to shove his car into a gap which it was never going to fit into. Result = bumping another car. Of course he gets away even without an investigation. Remember how Hamilton was treated(rather crucified) last year when he tried to fit his car into a gap which it was never going to fit into ? He isn't called teflonso without reason. He got away from crashgate scot free ( he didn't know ), now he knows he can get away from anything. I'm not saying the move he made today should've been punished %100, though it deserved an investigation but got overlooked so easily.
Which would be appropriate you think???Shrieker wrote:Hint: They're not going to strip Alonso's podium...
you can see Schumacher flat spotting his tyres ..so he did slow ...but i think it would have been better to push and have a little side by side wheel banging ...unfortunatelly Grosjeans move was too quick to complete this plan of Schumacher.Shrieker wrote:Hint: They're not going to strip Alonso's podium...
And... People blaming Grosjean for driving into Schumi. Really ?!? What was he supposed to do ? He got banged from the right and a racing driver's reflex to that is obvious. Too bad Michael was there. The odd thing is, had Michael not lifted (which was also a reflex) his car wouldn't have lost it's speed and Grosjean's rear left wouldn't have made contact. It could've given Grosjean a vital tenth of a second to go to right again. But I don't think Grosjean and Schumi are at fault at all.
Ok, that should've been "not going to penalise him in any way, or reprimand him" instead. They might reprimand him though, in which case I'll eat my hat.andartop wrote: Which would be appropriate you think???
Looks like my gut feeling was pretty much spot on.GrizzleBoy wrote:I have this weird feeling that Lewis is going to be under pressure from Grosjean and possibly everyone in the top ten behind him.....don't know why....
Also, the pole lap replay shows Schumacher going through the swimming pool chicanes ONE HANDED...WHILE adjusting the brake bias....
Remember when he said that his grandmother could drive these cars? Maybe he wasn't exaggerating lol.
I still can't see why should they. It seems so far that none of the parties involved (Lotus, Mercedes, Sauber) or the parties that would benefit from a penalty imposed on Alonso (McLaren, Red Bull) saw this incident the way you do. That's why I said let's wait until we have the result of the stewards' investigation.Shrieker wrote: Ok, that should've been "not going to penalise him in any way, or reprimand him" instead. So right!...At first I was screaming at the TV about Grosjean,,,is that how you spell his name??...anyway when I realized he was hit from the right side, the already walking on thin ice , Felipe Massa, I had to eat my words. Really bummed me out because for some reason I don't understand, I find myself pulling for Michael these days.And... People blaming Grosjean for driving into Schumi. Really ?!? According to Adam Cooper the FIA TWG is going to discuss the matter on Monday - http://adamcooperf1.com/2012/05/27/fias ... on-monday/Hail22 wrote:Is there an update whether teams will ask for a clarification of the RB8 Floor? or make an official protest Tuesday week before the Canadian GP?
