'Round the Bend' by Jeremy Clarkson

Post

I just finished reading this book which is basically a collection of articles by JC in 'The Guardian'. It was ridiculously hilarious! There was nt a single page where the reader wont rollover laughing, simply superb. Also, there many quotes by him which are typically 'Clarksonish'. Unreasonable, biased and ridiculous he might be, but the things he comes up regarding cars and life in general are always worth reading.

Clarkson in the Guardian? Are you sure? I think he'd call Guardian readers a bunch of vegetarianist communist global warming believing tree huggers. This is what they think of him ... http://www.guardian.co.uk/books/2011/de ... d-the-bend

Perhaps you were thinking of the article in the Sunday Times.

Pedantic points aside, I'm glad it made you laugh, that's why it's so important to have a good ghost writer.

Oh, yeah, the articles were indeed from the Sunday Times. Ha ha! The words and single-liners he has for every occasion are brilliant! Even Iron Man would hang his head in shame in front of him  Have you read this book? Now I have started on an older book 'Don't Stop Me Now', which I had since the past two years but for some reason, did not bother to read :?
