DRS aside, Ferrari bit off way more than it could chew when they switched Alonso to a one-stop strategy. They should have come in a lap after Hamilton, but McLaren's poor pit stops, I think, made Ferrari think they could steal a win.

Not so much.

Rosberg just 0.4 seconds behind Alonso at the finish!

Great race in the end, I am happy to have been proven wrong. Both a one and a two stop race were viable which always makes for a good race.

so lets see.

More durable tyres = best race this year so far.

There's nothing about DRS...... Grosjean almost past Alonso on stright without DRS. There's just tyres .

I think it's hard to 'blame' DRS - at 4 seconds a lap slower than your challenger, there's NO way you're going to keep them behind.

Richly deserved by Hamilton.

As much as Hamilton really deserved this, I'm really happy to see Perez on the podium as well as Grosjean silencing his critics!

Yep, just better traction from fresher rubber.

It's clear the teams have "come to terms" with the Pirellis. And by "come to terms," I mean, "Pirelli has quietly altered the tires' construction."
