Sometimes I wonder what I have to do in order to make you guys understand my american-afficianado?

Saw them many times in their hey-day fantastic sound, and I still dig them, but I do know one band that they made the mistake to follow at Qualcom (The facility formerly known as San Diego Municipal Stadium) there was never a concert in S.D. that Carlos played where he wasn't the headline band for many years after that however he is from Tijuana not mericuh. If you didn't get laid at a Santana concert you were probably on way to much acidxpensive wrote:Sometimes I wonder what I have to do in order to make you guys understand my american-afficianado?

Saw him during his second to last tour at the San Diego Sports Arena It was the summer after 8th grade and it took me about a little less than a year to figure out how he knew a chick near the front was wearing yellow panties when he said " I would like to dedicate this next song to the girl in the second row in the yellow underwear, and proceeded to play:bhallg2k wrote:Jimi Hendrix's favorite guitarist.Mr Alcatraz wrote:How many people suspect that these guys might make an appearance at the festivities in Austin? Beg to differ Al, Hendix was two years older than Beck and tore up the Monterey Pop Festival in '67xpensive wrote:Wouldn't get close, this is where Jimi's got his inspiration 40 years earlier, white blues my man!Mr Alcatraz wrote: Jimi Hendrix's favorite guitarist.

I'm pretty sure the following is the best guitar work I've ever heard.Red Schneider wrote:Clapton masterfully...
Great stuff a lot of people don't realize that Fleetwood Mac was a Blues band in 1965Red Schneider wrote:I hate to pile on more off-topic stuff, but if you're talking white blues - or just plain guitarwork - I don't think it gets better than this. I learned to play 90% of this by ear last Christmas and it's a joy to play. Clapton masterfully combines major and minor sounds to create some of the sweetest tension ever on the six-string.
Clapton circa 1966, full Les Paul-Marshall combo goodness backed by none other than Jimmy Page:
