Hi, finally joined this superb forum and would like to thank all contributors for their posts and images.
In the image above, I'd say the mirror mounts are new, aren't they ? IIRC mirrow had separate mounts, now they seem to be attached to the double winglet on the monocoque side.

Yes the mirror mounts are new, they were indeed separated at earlier GP's.

It may be more that they want to do a back-to-back comparison with real life (as opposed to wind tunnnel) data. Let's hope so because I'm encouraged to see the more complex looking endplates.

The little slot at the top of the FWEP(towards trailing edge) is new. Interesting this isn't one whole piece and that said slot/gap is present. Anyone have an idea exactly what it's accomplishing?
