Maldonado is an Idiot for ruining his race, he should have waited one or two corners than he would have been past. HAM is a bit to blame because he thought he could keep him at bay... threw away a lot of points. But it is good for the season that VET dnf, ALO will be catched it will be and will continueto be a awesome season like it already is!

I don't disagree that Maldonado doesn't have a functioning brain at times; which is why I prefer Bruno over him at Williams in spite of Bruno not having the pace Maldonado does.

Being here in the states, means I was unable to see the race. It is being aired on tape delay due to our glorious overlords at Fox. I've been searching YouTube to see if someone posted a video of this incident.

I wonder if Pastor did it on purpose after Lewis crowded him off the track after his initial move. Lost his temper and just said well have this...I see a position penalty for the next race for sure. And this after everyone was implying after his maiden win that he was someone to watch for future wins...

If this is the case then its just more evidence that he should not be in F1, it is not an environment where loosing your temper is an option as you dont just endanger yourself! Unfortunately we have seen in the past tat Igor has anger management issues

It certainly looks this way...the way he is conducting himself illustrates that he still needs a lot of work on his temperament and maturity. In saying that though most if not all drivers have done some idiotic moves at some stage or other it what they learn from that and how the develop from it that makes the long term differences.

Great run by Alonso, really happy to see such a podium with 3 world championms. Schumacher was smiling Grosjean-like, non stop.

I was ready to throw my TV out the window when I saw Grosjean stopping. I am starting to feel bad about the thoughts I had when Boullier announced him as a driver at Lotus, the guy really has a lot of potential.

I was amazed about Maldonado not hitting anyone at that very-crowded start we had, and I was ready to say that he might have started to sort his brain out, but nope, he proved us how much of an idiot he is in the very last lap. In the most serious note, something must be done with this guy, wether kidnaped and beaten the crap out of in a basement of the FIA, or just FW should consider to give the car to someone who really deserves it.

McLaren pit stops are a joke, Senna's penalty was a joke.

Epic fail from Macca though. Another pitstop f**k up. I think it was a waste of time fighting Kimi so much. Perhaps should of let him go and get Alonso (which Lotus were confident of at the time). Kimi win would have been better for Hamilton in the championship - who knows they could of crashed. Perhaps a stupid idea though but the fighting obviously took it out of the tyres and you have to wonder how far back Hamilton would have dropped back in the last 2 laps.

Poor stewards today as well. Kimi overtakes in the yellows and they still try and do Hamilton.

Honestly, I think he deserves a one race ban – not necessarily for this move, but for the accumulation of crazy dangerous things he's done.

What would Alonso do if he would have a really good car? It would be like a walk in the park. He saved a lot of jobs at Ferrari this year.

More importantly, Maldonado has proven that while brilliant... he's also a total numpty.

It is not a bad thing, but sometimes it is just counterproductive. If you look at Canada when Alonso was in the same situation, he just let the faster cars pass and bagged a few important points.
With more than 1 lap to go there was no way Hamilton could have stayed in front of Maldonado. So even if Maldonado is at fault here (and will probably be given 5-10 places penalty for next race), Hamilton ended the race with ZERO points. He would, he should have had 10 to 15.
The championship is too close this year to afford losing points like that imho...
