The American GP Club is on Facebook

Post

Anybody out there interested in joining a Facebook Group dedicated completely to Formula 1 technology?
If so please list your Contact info so I (and others in the group can look you up). The only info we need is your Facebook First and Last Name and your city, state. That way we know we've found the correct person. Like for instance there are 500+ Joey Griffin's on Facebook, So if you didn't know I live in Adel, Georgia you wouldn't know which to pick.

Anyways, Just thought it would be a cool idea to create a group that could live chat during the races/qualifying/and practice.

Thanks,
Joey Griffin

I'd say let's do it!
"There is a credit card with the Ferrari logo, issued by Santander, which gives the scuderia a % of purchases made with the card...

I would guess that such a serious amount of money would allow them to ignore the constant complains of a car that was nowhere near as bad as their #1 driver tried to sell throughout the season.

Heck, a car on which Massa finishes in the podium or has to lift so that his teammate finishes ahead (As we saw often in the final races of the year) is, by no means, a "bad" car."

I think some sort of chatroom would be great! Although I don't let facebook use me, so I can't do it through that medium. :?

Why not just make a F1 Tech Group and post a link to it?

Last night me and a few others from this forum made a group page for fans from the United States so we can all connect, as most of us don't have any personal friends that are interested in F1 (much less technically interested).

http://www.facebook.com/SoutheasternGrandPrixClub

I've still got to create a banner etc. It just went live yesterday. It isn't STRICTLY for U.S. Fans, anyone that wants to be a part of it feel free to join. We are going to be watching the televised sessions together and posting statuses/opinions on the page as the sessions are on live.

This sounds interesting. I can't participate in the live chatting because I have to watch the races afterwards (can't afford cable let alone the package to get speed) But I often have a facebook tab open and am ALWAYS up for some F1 chatting. I certainly don't get any of that in the real world (although I must say my girlfriend is learning fast)

Edit: Lee Braun in NYC btw

This is also what i'm talking about. A lot of the races are at weird times for us in the U.S. so I also would like people on my facebook just to actually chat with. If you will PM me your Facebook name, and City and State so I can find you.

Thanks,
Joey Griffin

*EDIT* Lee I tried looking you up but couldn't find you. Look up Joey Griffin - Adel, Georgia. Or you can look up my Graphics Page J.G. Graphix and click on it and find me as the owner and look me up that way too. Also, Why not join the "Southeastern Grand Prix Club" Facebook page I posted the link to? We could find each other very easily that way.

To All UNITED STATES fans

Post

A couple of fans from the forum and I have created a Facebook Group so we can all chat, etc with other fans from the United States, being that Formula One fans are so hard to come by where a lot of us live.

The Southeastern Grand Prix Club for U.S. fans is here:
http://www.facebook.com/SoutheasternGrandPrixClub

ALSO, don't forget to like F1 Technical's Facebook Page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/F1Technical/175676608291

Thanks to you all,
Joey Griffin

We are up to 15 fans!!! Doesn't sound like much but for America that's FULL of NASCAR fans it's HUGE for me. I now have 15 people from the U.S. I can talk to about the race. Please keep joining (You don't have to be an American).

Imagine that, it's the Southeastern America GP Club, but you don't have to be from the Southeast nor from the US to join!
