Sauber C31 Ferrari

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

New engine cover for Silverstone and and upgraded rear-end. Whatever this might be.

so a new difusser maybe? or adoption of the RedBull ducting..I ´d think it´s something they could do modifying their old sidepod molds.

The article tells that Sauber will have updates at engine cover and at the rear. But nothing specific.

I really wish this starter motor hole shot was more in focus.

I love this car. Every detail seems purposeful and well thought out. =D>

again ..the measuring device is reminding me of the guys in my work doing the measuring .It´s not they don´t know their trade´,far from it but :it´s always a bit of standup improvisation and a bit make do solution .They are NOT interested at all in producing measuring equipment that does not influence the car too much .It´s very low on their agenda .
It looks like this is a trait these guys have all in common...
I always ask myself why it may be so important to design and manufacture a car to incredible detail and precison if it is ok to measure your results applying the sensors and other hardware by means of a tape and a bunch of tywraps..
