The adjuster rod, which in the old stretches over the full three flaps, and in the new only connects the top two flaps - I believe this change was present at Hockenheim. Which might mean that the new front wing is technically not new, just that we didn't fully see/notice the changes in germany.

Also the small winglet from the cascade is gone.

If they can gain a second by only this, can we assume that Merc still do not fully understand their car and this is just unlocked potential of the car?

It's good to see them in high res, as before that bump looked to me like a hole. But it's clearly a bump! Very odd! Reminds me of that bump you see slightly ahead of the rear tyres on most cars.

I know the cascade is gone, but there was still a small piece of the end plate where the cascade was. This is now gone with the new front wing.

zyphro, I don't think that diffuser is new, I think that's the monaco diffuser. At the least I think I definitely saw that in Silverstone.
