Did'nt realise there were people your age on this site, that Toleman might have been designed by Rory Byrne, you should research his work - he is a very good designer.

Nice picture!

Senna was magic, I think his presence still remains around all of the cars he drove.

The one I really want to see in person is his JPS Lotus 97T and 98T.

without a doubt I agree, the JPS Lotus's had this presence that alot of other cars didn't have, I had the same feeling when I seen the McLaren MP4-27 on track in real life, it had that presence which I felt only the JPS Lotus's and the old McLarens had. :D

I'd like to see the recent McLaren's in a decent livery. Perhaps white or their old orange winter testing colors, I loved those.

And nice pic, I'm also dying to get near an F1 car! I'll check out a local motorsport museum to see if they have any here.

haha, its alot easier in Britain to get near an f1 car, whether it be a showcar or an old car, or current car, and I like the current McLaren Livery :D

There used to be a Renault showroom on the Champs Elysées with an F1 car on display. I think they had one from the Alonso-Piquet era when I was last there.

Re: Sennas Toleman

my current obsession is building all Senna's Mclarens in scale form, kits by Tamiya with full detail and proper decals.

got 3 out of 5 at the moment, when i complete my collection i will share with you guys.

Senna's my hero, and it still saddens me he isnt with us, but when i see the cars i've built, it reminds me of the greatness i witnessed between the ages of 5 and 14

thank you

got my MP4/7 on wednesday, everything painted and ready to be assembled, however i'm itching to start but i've had a beer or 6 so cant go anywhere near it

:D

1/12 scale MP4/6 is gonna cost me about £200 for the kit, correct decals and metal parts

worth every penny as that completes my collection.
