Lotus F1 Team driver Romain Grosjean has been handed a one-race ban following his severe collision at the start of the Belgian GP. The driver has been involved in seven first-lap crashes already this season, surely a metric to have been influential in the decision making of the stewards.
That wasn't even in traffic. It was only him and Hamilton anywhere near the accident and he just drove clean into the side of him. What the hell was he expecting to achieve there? He had the entire width of the track available to him and chose to drive into Hamilton in an effort to force him off the track.LHamilton wrote:Grosjean needs to learn how to drive in traffic.
