Overall it was a good race, nice battles and overtakings. Kimi's overtake on Schuey at Eau Rouge was just superb. Good result for Torro Rosso - I wasn't expecting that; as well as for Hulkenberg and Massa.
I am not sure who Maldonado hit, beause I saw him without his FW when he was going off track. Doesn't matter though, he jumped the start in a barbaric way.
Funny (or not so) when Pic and Glock were like "Screw you and your blue flag guys, we're fighting over here" :)

Spa is a real racing circuit that provides enjoyable races, not some place you go and drive around for the enjoyment of some people. That was off the record.

P.S.: What the f*ck did they built Kobayashi's Sauber of? He just drove away after Hamilton and Alonso wrer all over him.
"...and there, very much in flames, is Jacques Laffite's Ligier. That's obviously a turbo blaze, and of course, Laffite will be able to see that conflagration in his mirrors... he is coolly parking the car somewhere safe." Murray Walker, San Marino 1985

He very nearly hits Alonso's helmet and *I think* his rear wheel clips the cockpit sidewall. Kudos to FIA for further increasing their height a few years back.

I think no car would've survived that impact. Hamilton's car runs over the side of KK's and lands on his front wheel. That's never good for suspension parts I'm sure you'll agree.

edit: Sorry I got it wrong lol. He just didn't suffer enough damage to retire on the spot I'm inclined to say

What a great race! Nice overtakings and fights! Spa is a very nice track.

Also awesome racing from Vettel, great overtakings! =D> Schumacher was very good, too. So sad that his 6th gear failed at the end of the race. He could be on the podium!

Hope to see more of this races in the future!

Grosjean was a really shame today. #-o

So Paul Hembery wasn't TOO far off with his tweet: https://twitter.com/paulhembery/status/ ... 3568556032

But it's interesting that some people seemed to manage to do a single stop (seemingly) without much struggle, namely Vettel and Button, who have through 2011 been renowned as the tyre masters.

Fantastic drives from Vergne, Hulkenberg and Vettel, I thought. Michael drove well too - if only they hadn't miscalculated their strategy until too late.

They learned from their mistakes, perhaps?

Grosean changed the championship today. Wish F1 would go back to the 80's system of only counting the strongest 12 out of 16 races, something like that. That way the champion is the driver who put together the most really strong performances.

If every race counts then a close championship becomes a season-long excercise in damage limitation. Don't know why Alonso is the only driver who understands that. Good for him, but I don't want a driver to be world champion due to consistent 5th-place finishes.

Grosjean banned for one race:

About time and good riddance, he won't be missed.

Bout time someone got a ban!

Grosjean needs to quieten the F-Duct down. His starts have been killer, but one time he will be a killer.

Maldanado handed a dual 5 place drop for a 10 place total at Monza. He will be next one with a ban i think.

C'mon Jerome D'Ambrosio at Monza!

Wow that is harsh. I expected a grid penalty of 10 places, but this is much harder. Why didn't Maldonado ever got one?

Are they allowed to put in an other driver?

Because Grosjean took out multiple championship contenders: "It eliminated leading championship contenders from the race... an extremely serious mistake and an error of judgement".

Not to mention, how many incidents he has already been involved in, and, his lack of responsibility when he is guilty in the incidents.

Funny thing is, he took out championship contenders at this race track, three years ago. The guy doesn't learn, does he?
