need help.

All that has to do with the power train, gearbox, clutch, fuels and lubricants, etc. Generally the mechanical side of Formula One.

yeah thanks for that dave but unashamely i'd say that i knew that :lol:i always try to read as many books as i can but engines and transmission are something i am still trying to get my head around how to work, let alone F1 engines and transmissions!! still it was cool by you, could i ask from where you got that, or that was written from that box you have on your head? which book do you recommend me after having read chariot makers, which i found really helpful especially the chassis area but it left me wanting for more because it doesnt tell me something really new.

You could defnitely do well with Ferrari Formula 1 by Peter Wright.
Racecar Engineering and RaceTech magazines are very good too.

I've read one of Matchett's book (the one with the fire on the cover) but it was pretty light weight. If I think of something else I'll post it up.
