Stefano Domenicali
Monza's high-speed nature means that teams have to develop one-off packages for that event. "Am I confident? What I can say is that it is a one-off configuration for everybody, so we have to see how the others have prepared for Monza. "In my view it was good to see in Belgium that we have recovered speed, which is important obviously, as we can see up to now, every race is different. "From my side it is important that what has been prepared for aero, with gear ratios, with set-up, is done right, because it will be a very important race for us."

Form the speed trap result it is really interesting to see that first 5 driver who have topped the speed trap are qualified in position of 6-14, where as if we think about pole setter and 2nd and 3rd person in qualifying they only managed to do 16th , 11th and a 6th place respectively in the speed trap. That does indicate that top speed is not enough to get higher grid position in Spa rater a optimum Drag/Downforce ratio is required. So should we say that F2012 shed huge amount of downforce just to get top speed, which might not enough to take battle with car having maintaining optimum level of Drag/Downforce ratio respectively to their car. Though the data show this, may be top speed is more beneficial in the race than in the qualifying.
